Hi guys new member please go easy,
we live in a small village, our next door neighbours have been relatively good friends, they are a little nosey and like to gossip but we are carful what we disclose. The husband is a retired NHS psychiatric nurse and the wife is still practicing as a CPN.
My husband had recently had therapy for childhood trauma,
due to the nature of the issue, prior to treatment my husband wrote a letter to the health trust asking our neighbours have no access to his records as we would not want them knowing as he has disclosed things about others to us. whilst having the treatment we discovered the manger of the councillor my husband was seeing is the daughter of our neighbours . Last week my husband had an argument with the retired CPN, in front of two other neighbours who he is very clicky with.
During the argument the retired CPN got very nasty and said to my husband your losing your grip it’s your mental health, my husband said what do you mean, he then said I know you have had counselling, my husband said who told you that? He replied you did, my husband said no I didn’t and forcefully demanded to know who told him he said I’m not saying.
My husband is now devastated as we don’t know what they know, we have phoned the councillor who seen my husband she told us to complain to PALs and they have been very poor, we just don’t know who to turn too. I had to phone our GP as I am really worried for my husband’s mental health he’s having flashbacks and is crying at time which I’ve never seen him do he is being physically sick, he feels humiliated and betrayed any advice would be appreciated.
