Need to increase antidepressants

I’ve been on antidepressants since 2011, been on various ones such as citalopram, fluoxetine to name a few. Currently on fluoxetine and feel really depressed due to shit going on in my life and my tablets don’t seem to be cutting it (30mg).
the best tablets I ever had was citalopram but then they change the highest doseage so I moved on to a different one.

can fluoxetine be upped higher than 30mg? Is there another better one out there? Thanks

I have just been advised to increase my dose of fluoxetine from 40mg to 60mg so it should be possible for you to increase your dose. You need to speak to your doctor and see what they say.
