I do cos I'm a stresshead. (I worry and overthink)

A few of my problems are

  1. My nose is permanently blocked for years cos my mucus/infection doesnt drain out properly cos the sinus holes are tiny cos its all tense up so i permanently have tender headaches, all on front. (I've got nasal steriod spray which i can only use it for so long) (ive had ent specialists looking up my nose, all clear (but to me it's blocked) at first they diagnosed rhinosinitus but they eventually diagnosed facial anxiety).
  1. I've got dermatitis on one side of my face, nose and all on chest. (Ive got Betamethasome cream and oil gel..its ok but doesn't clear it up so my chest looked like I've got a permanent tan)
  1. Got high blood pressure so im on tablets since 2019.
  1. I've got no energy probably due to me struggling to breathe. ( if i put the breathe nasal strip on...i can actually breathe..but can only allow to leave it on for 11 hours at a time).
  1. My throat feels tight to breathe in and out. (This came on about 2 years ago as i also get palpitations out of the blue when im sitting on the couch, relaxed)

What are yours?

Check out Nicole Sachs on chronic pain - if anxiety driven it’s likely her stuff could help you.

Hello Op,

That sounds really annyoing, i'm no expert but do you think some of these symptoms could be down to generalised tension due to ongoing anxiety? I say this because i used to (and still do) have problems with my face, mostly my jaw mouth and ears.

I have had ear problems for a few years now and my mouth basically feels too small for my face, my jaw is insanely tight, i can hardly open my mouth and i even go through periods where i feel like my tounge is too big and it stops me from breathing (gross i know, sorry.)

To cut a long story short it was ALL pretty much down to my anxiety. I've spend so many years of my life being constantly on edge, constantly tense that it started to have awful effects on my body. Because i just NEVER EVER realxed, even in my sleep.

Once i realised this i was super aware how my whole body is a bad of tension. i still have problems but i can identify quite quickly when i start to tense up and try and do strtching and brething excersises, i also try and have a massage when i can afford it.
