I don't know what to do with myself and could do with some coping strategies for anxiety. I am floored by it and can't stop throwing up and having panic attacks

You need to seek professional help. Not here. Pls make an appointment with your GP as a starting point or contact a MH charity. I think MIND is a good one

Did something happen to trigger it?

Do not drink tea coffee or anything with caffeine. Have a long bath it is v cleansing. Watch your breathing- ensure it is deep and not shallow. Also ensure you eat well.

Thank you, I had a lovely friend come and sit with me for the day and I feel much better.

The anxiety causes continuous vomiting and I have spent the last 2 days in different A&E being IV rehydrated after getting to the point of vomiting blood. The doctors diagnosed me with cyclic vomiting syndrome as this happens quite often with me with no apparent cause.

I have been in touch with the community mental health team through 111 and I have had the most lovely nurse visits me and drop off medication. I am now on their radar, the nurse couldn't believe how I had gone quite a few years without being referred to the team.

What caused the anxiety attack was getting on a flight abroad for holiday with my family. I couldn't do it and just completely went into an anxiety crisis. I sent my husband and daughter without me, and I hope to join them next week. I am going to see a doctor tomorrow and explain the situation and hopefully get some anxiety medication especially for the flight.

Oh I am pleased for you @disconnected1 that you're feeling much better.

And fingers crossed you'll soon have medication so you can take that flight and join your daughter and husband Flowers
