started AD's on Saturday, going to have counselling etc

had an over due smear yesterday and they found a big polyp

Im terrified as it probably means an op to remove it

the thought of being put to sleep terrrifies me. Im going to worry now, scared of not waking up

Really been trying to not get too stressed and worried

Oh you poor thing. Whilst your worries are very real, they are probably very unlikely. You need to talk it over with the doc to put your mind at rest.

Can you try to find something good to focus on today?

anniebear - my mum had a polyp removed about 8 years ago - it is a quick operation and the anaesthetic is therefore light. She recovered quickly and did not stay the night in hospital. The thought of being put to sleep is very frightening, but they will take good care of you.
