Why do I keep having health scares every few months?

For the past week I’ve been worried I have nasal cancer. Only in the winter just gone I went to the doctors with headaches thinking I might have a brain tumour! Before that I was worried about liver cirrhosis because my eyes were yellow and it turned out to be Gilbert’s syndrome.

I keep finding myself with anxiety over being ill and I don’t know when it’s normal to worry and when it’s not. Does anyone else have this?

It sounds like your catastrophising. Your minds picking up on small things then running at 100 miles per hour. It's the anxiety, and the ironic thing is the anxiety is probably makes you feel I'll as it can cause alll sorts of uncomfortable physical symptoms. CBT helps massively with unwanted/negative thoughts. As can mindfulness and meditation. Have you spoke to gp?
