And I'm scared. Have two young children, lovely husband who I can speak to. I just feel like I'm burnt out and everything is pointless. I don't enjoy life any more. I'm so tired.

(((HUG)))

im sorry you feel like this x

How old is your youngest? Was it a traumatic birth?

Make an urgent GP appointment & ask them to assess you for PND.

you're loved, you're wanted, you're needed and you will NOT always feel like this

FeelinLost · 26/06/2022 21:29

Thank you ❤️ I've started a text conversation with Shout.

My first was a traumatic birth and my second was a good birth but still processing breastfeeding grief. She's 20 months old.

I'm on antidepressants and had counselling last year after speaking to my GP.

💐 This moment will pass - I am glad to read you have reached out to shout . Sorry you are feeling like this , I have been there, it’s not a pretty place . Big hugs

FeelinLost · 26/06/2022 21:43

I've been waiting half an hour for them to "connect" me. So think I'll just go to bed soon.

This is email service I’ve found helpful in the past - up to 24 hr reply time though. 💐

Psychotherapisthere · 27/06/2022 07:31

I'm sorry you had to wait for them to respond. I would suggest you contacting your GP for an emergency appointment. It maybe that you need your medication reviewed. Perhaps they can also arrange some more counselling if it helped. Do let your husband know how you're feeling so he can take more of the load. Thinking of you 💐

JuneJubilee · 27/06/2022 09:37

Hello!!

How are you doing today? It's a shame you didn't get through to shout last night, have you tried yet this morning??

I still think you should go back to your GP. See about changing your meds and ask about possible PND/PTSD it's often missed in mothers & put down to motherhood being tiring or general anxiety and it's a shame when the right medication can be life changing!

🌸😊

FeelinLost · 27/06/2022 15:37

Thanks for your input and for asking how I am today. I've been working and non stop all day so not had a chance to message the service. I feel OK today but haven't had time to think until now.

I have a mental health review coming up next week maybe I can tell them everything.
