My psychiatrist said last month that in around 6 months time that he would start taking me off my antipsychotic. I’m currently on haloperidol 18mg. So quite a good dose. It’s worked brilliantly for me.
I am not scared but I am a little a bit apprehensive.
He did say we would do it slowly. But how slow is slowly? I know only he knows but has anyone come off an anti psychotic, especially haloperidol and have any clue.
or at least have any experience of coming off an anti psychotic and not going onto another one?
