Sertraline day 10 can I increase myself

I have really bad anxiety even though been taking Sertraline for 10 days 50mg. At what point do I need to see if I have to increase dose? Could 50mg still work and I’m not giving it enough time? Can I do it myself? I don’t have a review until 24th

I'm on day one and was told to give it 3 weeks to see if I feel better.

Also , when I took them ages ago I remember a few days of feeling the worse anxiety ever , it did pass though.

Don’t risk it. Your doctor spent years in training for a reason. I do warn you - you’ll be dry as a bone when it does go up so get the lubricant in

Listen to ToughLover. I was like the Sahara desert and we had to get specialised prescription lube. Don’t risk anything tingly though.

Toughlover that made me laugh thanks for that 🤣

3 weeks! I knew I shouldn’t it is the waves of anxiety talking I think. I wasn’t feeling too bad up until now but today I can’t leave the house. I’m sat on the sofa like a rabbit between the headlights. God I hate anxiety it’s a bitch!

Omg I have never heard of those side effects 😱 is it permanent?

Yes very sadly it is permanent! I recommend Durex play water based. Unflavoured and not sticky/any residue.

I noticed a few side affects initially including loss of libido too, but honestly that could have been down to many factors in my life.

Oh! Thanks for the heads up! I thought you were kind of joking. Yes not really in the mood here but I wouldn’t with crippling anxiety. Hoping these pills are the answer and things go back to normalish soon

I'm <ahem> pretty dry now thanks to the menopause, will I shrivel up completely?!
