Mirtazapine to citalopram

Advised by gp to make a straight switch to 10mg citalopram from 15mg mirtazapine anyone have experience with this

Hi I’ve just gone from 15mg mirtazapine to 20mg citalopram and feel pretty awful. Only been 5 days but I’m really struggling. How have you been with the switch?

Hi I didn’t change as too fearful of the side effects hoping you feel better soon

Feel a little better, yesterday I managed to eat a meal for the first time In a week but don’t like some of the other side effects. Feel like I’m leaning forward all the time and heart is pounding but hoping these settle soon too. Hopefully mirtazapine starts to work for you.
