Fluoxetine increase

Hi all, im hoping to hear people’s experience of increasing their fluoxetine dose. I’m currently on 20mg and have been on that dose for probably 10 or so years. I was very fortunate that I didn’t have any side effects when I started (unlike citalopram which nearly killed me). I suppose I’m just trying to find out if side effects are inevitable when increasing a dose? Im having regular blips at the moment so I think it’s time. TYIA x

I think so. I always find it better to try and increase the dose really gradually by chopping up the pills. Not possible if it's capsules of course but you can get Fluoxetine in pill or liquid form I think.
