All physical anxiety

Is it possible to have severe physical anxiety symptoms with no feelings of anxiety?

I've struggled for a few years now with physical symptoms like fluttering chest, overwhelmed by sounds and noise easily, forgetful, feeling sick, waking up at night with mind racing, unable to sleep, fatigued in the day, breathing fast, etc etc.

GPs tell me it's anxiety. It's solved with benzos, so maybe it is, but obviously these are short term only. Antidepressants don't seem to help.

The only thing is, I'm not anxious. I have a stressful life, but take lots of time for myself, my mental health, and cope well. I'm only part time at work. I get by in the days, I can do my work, it's just the physical issues that stop me. They still occurr on my days or weeks off though?

Is this anxiety like the GPs say? Can you have anxiety so bad as to affect your everyday life without actually having any worries or feeling anxious?
