Severe anxiety - Perimenopuase help please

Hello all, brand new here.
Since last September i have suffered so badly with anxiety that i no longer go out...only to work.
I have been diagnosed as perimenopausal in January.
I started on the Oestrogel 4 pumps now they have given me the patch 100mg (on day 7 of that today)
I wondered if any of you out there have any experience of this anxiety and HRT that cured it? and how long it took please?

Hang in there and persevere with the oestrogen, and it was Testosterone that really made the difference for me. I couldn't get it on the NHS so went private, but hands down it was the best money I think I have ever spent. It was transformational, and I'm not exaggerating.

I think you can technically get it prescribed on the NHS, hopefully someone will be along to advise the best way, should that be something you might want to try.

How did you go about getting a private appointment? I can't live like this I'm an absolute wreck x

Can I ask how old you are also? If you search on line the BMS website have some menopause specialist suggestions

I didn’t get on with HRT and as anxiety was my only major symptom I stopped taking it and tried Black Cohosh and St Johns Wort tablets. I still have a few days of really bad anxiety every few weeks but a year ago I was like that every day and having panic attacks so I’ve definitely improved.
