Tips for anxiety

My anxiety has spiralled out of control today. I know the warning signs, I know my triggers but I’m still reaching the point of the world hates me. I’ve done CBT which helped.

Basically what’s your top tip for anxiety and how to get yourself back on track? Any hints or tips that really work for you?

I think sometimes it helps to let yourself write off days rather than going into hyperanxious "I must fix this" mode.

Especially if the anxiety is turning into self-loathing. Counter it with self-compassion and gentleness rather than feeding it with the narrative that you have to work harder to fix it. Otherwise you just keep it going because it affirms you're right to be anxious, when actually you're not.
