Overwhelmed single mum

I’m a single mum to two young children and work part time. I feel stuck in a rut and can’t seem to get out.
I’m on 30mg fluoxetine and have been for Atleast a year & also have counselling twice a month.

My issues are :

Overweight, drink too much, tired all the time, no energy/motivation, house is a mess, can’t be bothered to cook/meal plan/food, my youngest really stressed me out, is very clingy and demanding and I just feel really overwhelmed by everything!! My concentration is at zero!

Please help

I’m with you on pretty much it all! I only have 1 child; stopped medication before lockdown 1 as couldn’t get appt and never gone back on; too scared of the settling in period again. I work 40-50 hrs a week. Drink too much; always tired. No motivation. House is a tip. Our clothes are always clean and ironed but I have masses of washing to do. I don’t really cook properly as cant face eating.. cook my daughter basic meals and she always has all her fruit and veg.. just seems pointless cooking proper meals as she has a small appetite and I always end up cooking too much and it’s wasted. Don’t even know where to start with getting on top of my housework.

Do you work op? Friends? Hobbies?

I can relate to everything you’ve said, single mum also but have 4 no energy or motivation to do anything.

I have close to zero support and work full time. Proper house clean gets done once a week to every two weeks. Bare minimal in between - dishes, counters, toilets, quick hoover/brush of floors. Laundry is always cleaned though not folded away.

Also have health issues, drink too much and am almost constantly tired. Studying too. Used to have lots of ready meals but realised they were not helping with my condition, so have been cooking from scratch more which is supposed to be good for MH. On top of it all I'm stressed about the cost of living crisis.

Besides stopping drinking completely, I really can't see how I could improve things.

Similar here. Lone parent to two small children, demanding full-time job and I am disabled. It's absolutely exhausting and relentless.
