Hi!
Just wondering if anyone has had any late/missed periods whilst on sertraline? I started at the beginning of Feb and have been taking 50mg and I am now 9 days late for my period!
I know I should just take a test but I have a 3.5yo dd & an 11mth old dd and to be honest, I’m just so anxious that it might be positive!!
I’ve not had any other pg symptoms so just wondering if the medication can mess things up???

Sorry for the rambling, I’m a bit all over the place with worry! Confused

on 100mg sertraline x

Hi, it was a positive pregnancy test for me on this occasion! (Although don’t know why I was worried, DS is 20 months old now and I wouldn’t change it for the world!)

I will say though, I’ve been back on sertraline for the past 12 months and my cycle has fluctuated between 23 - 32 days so I guess it’s a possibility?

@Pbaby0401 thank you for your reply, I’m really hoping it is the sertraline for me as my fourth baby just turned one.

i am going to wean myself off it and see if my period comes. Very strange as it hasn’t made any bit of difference to my mental health x

Oh no, I’ve felt much better each time I’ve been on it. So much so that I can tell when I’ve accidentally missed a dose!

maybe speak to your GP and see if there’s an alternative? Hope you get it sorted xx
