Its been a year today since my eldest daughter ran away. She was 14. Is 15 now. I miss her so much and my life seems so empty. Only stay alive for my other kids.
I wish I could take back every harsh word and feeling and make it all righgt

So sorry to hear this. I remember reading about her on another thread.

Have you no idea where she is?

DingDongMummyLinOnHigh · 04/01/2008 20:05

do you know where she is needmorecoffee. Is it possible you could write to her and tell her how much you miss her ?Maybe she wants to see you too but her pride wont let her ? i haven seen your story but i hope it will work out for you,i cant imagine the agony of not seeing one of my children.

needmorecoffee, are you sure you dont want a brandy tonight instead? Your girl is with her gp's am i right?

I have had a fraught relationship with my DD, i just hold on to the fact that when she grows up things will improve, that is starting to happen, but its slow and tentative.

I can only offer my support. It WILL be alright, with time - did you have any contact over christmas?

needmorecoffee she will be feeling the exact same you know. i was a runaway and the longer i stayed away the harder it got to make contact. being 14/15 makes you stubbon and have lots of pride.
hope things work out for you soon x
