Pregabalin experiences

Hi, I'm specifically looking for others experiences with weight gain/appetite increase whilst taking pregabalin.

I was prescribed it years ago and I think it did actually help me feel generally better. My anxiety and having a more positive outlook. I can't 100% remember as it was years ago and I've tried a lot of different medication. I stopped taking it when I went through a period when I thought it was wise to come off all medication. I'm currently only on antidepressants.
I may ask to be prescribed it again at my medication review in April.
Main side effect I'm worried about is weight gain.
I haven't lost the 3 stone I put on during pregnancy so I'm greatly over weight already and trying to work on it.
Its just a catch 22 weather to take them and give them a proper go and risk more weight gain for the chance of my mental health possibly improving a lot.
Be good to hear people's experiences.
Thank you

I started taking pregabalin for trigeminal neuralga in my face last July and didn’t really have a choice. The pain was excruciating and I would’ve done anything to get it to stop. I’m on quite a high dose which I’m hoping I’ll be able to reduce soon.
Re weight/hunger I haven’t noticed a gain but I would say my appetite has increased. I have days when I feel like normal and others when I’m ravenous. I hope that helps.

I ve taken it before for my fibromyalgia, I found it didn't help my pain and I put three stone on in three months, but others I've spoken to didn't gain any weight and it helped them

I take it for severe spinal stenosis and have not gained a lb. I've lost weight because I can move more.
