What's the point?

My mental health is shot to pieces at the best of times. I stupidly came off setraline (150mg) at the end of last year and have restarted it again as I can feel myself on a downward spiral (after talking to GP)

HOWEVER - with all that's happening in Russia is there any point? Almost feel like I'd be as well not bothering and taking the full prescriptions worth in one go because we are all done for anyway. I just don't feel like I can keep on coping anymore. Suicide was always off limits as I couldn't put my kids through that, but if we are all doomed anyway what is the point?

I’m so sorry you feel this way @Hamilfan. I’m not good at giving advice or support but I didn’t want your post to go unanswered.

I’ve been there and keep telling myself there is always a point - you are so right to think of your children - you wouldn’t put them through losing you to suicide - none of us can control what happens in Russia but you can control how you are for your children so that alone is a point to keep going.

I hope you’ve felt better (or at least no worse) today. Flowers
