Mum is stopping Sertraline after 1.5 years, with her dose mostly on 150mg.
Doctor recommended a decrease to 100mg then a switch to Venlafaxine.
She took her last Sertraline last Thursday and the Venlafaxine on Friday. So Saturday she was suffering dizziness, by Sunday she had low blood pressure.
the problem now is she doesn't want to take anything. So we are worried that she is going to suffer as if she had just stopped 100mg sertraline suddenly.
How has others switched away from Sertraline and minimized any of these side effects?
