Is it too soon to hope? Sertraline

I’ve been on sertraline for a month now and I feel better then I have done in years. I’m scared to believe they might be working as I feel like I’ll jinx it and go backwards!

Have they worked for anyone else this quickly?

Yes. They made me far far worse for days 5-10 and then better than I have felt in a long time. I am a bit scared of coming off them as I feel so much better. My issue was anxiety, not depression.

Yes! Changed my life.

It worked really well for my adult DS, much better than the others he's tried. He improved quite quickly too and is doing really well.

Glad it's working for you, onwards and upwards!

Didn’t work for me as quickly, but when it kicked in it changed my life

Yes, nothing dramatic, but my mood got more even pretty quickly.

I’m calmer, much less irritable and have a ‘spring in my step’. Situations where I’d usually feel the stress and anxiety filling my chest etc are so much better, just a slight fizzle now. No days waking up feeling like I’m in a fog. My family life is so much better.

I could almost cry with relief.

So glad to hear others have had this experience and it might be working.
