I was on them for around 2 years. They made me feel numb. Like, completely numb, I just didn't feel anything. Only side effect I had on them was yawning, I yawned alllll the time.
If I forgot to take one the side effects were horrible, shaking, felt sick, couldn't do anything.

I was on them for 15+ years. On Mirtazipine now. I found them helpful, but the side-effects if a dose was late were very grim (as described by GAW19) and I had to be weaned off them.

Best wishes to you. x

What was your highest dose you went up to?

I was on 375mg per day; two tablets in the morning and three at night. It was Venlafaxine, but I think it's just a typo in your email thread name, so probably the same thing.

Hope you're OK.

My mum has been on Sertraline for over a year and half. now on 150mg. Every dose increase along the way has given her a short lived boost before going back to Sq 1. Infact her anxiety has gona high.

Dr just now mentioned Venlafaxine starting in 3 weeks after getting her off Sertraline.
So we are hoping the Dr has said this for a reason.

I don't know if anyone has made a similar switch..
