How long for antidepressants to make a difference?

So I've just started 10mg of citalopram for postnatal depression and anxiety. I'm not expecting an overnight cure (although that would be great!) But can anyone who has an experience with citalopram or any antidepressant, share how long you felt it took for them to make a difference please?

Can take 4-6 weeks. It can make you feel worse before you get better. It should all be on the leaflet in the box. Sorry you're feeling this way, I've been there it's shit but it does get better and you're doing the right thing don't give up on them. Xx
