Hi all...

I receive PIP for mental health issues. They are severe.

I've recently had two additional diagnoses to add to the mix with my mental health.

Do I call the DWP and tell the of this?

No. You only need to notify them of a change in condition that could reasonably have an impact on the level of award you receive. New diagnoses, changes to medication, etc, are things you don't really have to tell them about.

I claim PIP for severe and long-lasting mental illnesses as well. A couple of months ago I was diagnosed with autism in addition to these, but I haven't told the DWP because my ability to perform the tasks dealt with by PIP is unchanged. If this is the case for you, definitely don't tell them because it will trigger a reassessment which you might end up regretting.

Thank you for this advice. I'm sorry you suffer too.

The last thing that I need is another assessment 🙄
