DS is 15.
He's telling all sorts of lies to friends. That he's been in boxing matches and is a pro gamer are a couple of examples.
Should I see this a mental health issue?
They are things he would love to be and I'm concerned he is blurring fantasy and reality? he does do a couple of unusual sports to a high standard, so I can't understand why he needs to make up stories about things he has never done ?

He's insecure. What steps are you taking to help him make his dreams into reality?

He already gets praise and recognition in the sports that he does.

He feels inadequate somehow and is emotionally bored maybe?
