Duloxetine Experiences?

Can anyone share their experiences with duloxetine. I'm suffering with postnatal depression and have been prescribed this 20mg but I'm too scared to start it after a bad reaction to Zoloft. Did it work? How long did it take to work? When is best to take it? Side effects? Etc.
TIA

Hi,
I take 60mg of it daily, and started on 30mg. I didn't suffer any side effects at all - I wouldn't have known I was taking it had it been presented as a supplement or something when I was first prescribed it in hospital had I not been told. Possibly insomnia but I was struggling with that before. I have also since been put on Mirtazapine to help me sleep. Of all the medications I've tried, Duloxetine has probably had the fewest side effects. I'd say the only one that is significant which I didn't realise until recently is that I grind my teeth at night, have a tense jaw. Took about three weeks to feel its benefits. I have been on Sertraline before this and this had far more side effects for me - in essence it worked but I had the tight jaw, found sleep even worse and it gave me chronic restless legs. Good luck. Hope this helps.

I’m on 60mg of duloxetine, no side effects as far as I’m aware.

I was on sertraline 200mg, and had no benefit. But I feel so much better on the duloxetine.

@FMLpassthegin thank you for replying. It's reassuring to hear you didn't have many side effects. Although the teeth grinding is what I'm worried about as one of the reasons I came off Zoloft was because of the agonising tight jaw 😔 sounds like this might just be a common side effect of antidepressants 😒
