Shit mental health - no help

I'm really struggling at the moment. My mental health is poor in general but I just received an appointment for a mammogram (early as my mum died from breast cancer and I just turned 40) and I have reached breaking point with anxiety. I called the doctors to ask to be put back on ADs and I'm told no one can help and to try again tomorrow. I know they are busy, I know we are in a pandemic but how am I supposed to cope?

Don't really know why I'm posting. Just to rant, I guess.

Can you look at the mammogram as a positive? The vast majority of breast cancers are caught early and treated successfully because of preemptive checks.

Anxiety is there to call your attention to important stuff. If you had zero anxiety you wouldn't bother with your health (or anything else for that matter!) so listen to it, act on it and then think about ways to improve your mental health.
