Hi there, i'm looking for some insight I think. I have diagnosed depression and anxiety. Generally it's pretty mild and I manage it with sertraline. Since the beginning of the pandemic i have noticed that I am more paranoid than before about my friendships and my judgement generally. I find that I am often worried that friends don't like me, and find I am extremely anxious about saying no to anyone or expressing my needs to friends. For example today I have bowed out of a Christmas party because we decided we can't afford to risk getting covid and cancelling Christmas plans with my in-laws whom we haven't seen for months. I also asked a couple of close friends whom i am seeing later this week if they would mond taking a LFT before we meet. I think these requests are both reasonable but none of my friends have responded so far and I catastrophising in my mind - assuming they will be unsympathetic etc. Basically i have no confidence in my decisions, feel like my friends don't like me, and generally second guess myself all the time. Despite there being no evidence that any of this is true outside of my head! Has anyone else experienced this? Particularly since the start of the pandemic? Any thoughts would be gratefully received, thanks
