Scared to be honest with gp.

I am taking sertraline and a couple of weeks ago gp added in diazepam to have if I really needed it. I have had a very bad week and used it every day, so I have now run out.
Last time I spoke the gp they asked about self harm, have history for doing it. I lied and told them I wasn't. I now need to try and get more diazepam as still struggling, but worried about the questions they will ask.

Just be honest. What are you afraid will happen if you tell them the truth?
