I've done the dishwasher and am trying to finish the kitchen but because I organised the cleaning cupboard under the sink there's alot of shite about now and am feeling a bit overwhelmed!

I totally understand OP. It’s good to celebrate things like this. When I was trying to fix things after a bout of executive dysfunction I took before and after photos. They really made me feel like I accomplished something.

For my little mental health achievement: I emailed the landlord about the broken tap!

Amazing! I understand how you feel, I have similar trouble keeping up with housework. Doesn't sound impressive but I cleaned the toilet the other day. Hoping I'll be able to get more done tomorrow. Solidarity

Celebrating with you, I plan to try and do my oven this week.

I've achieved loading the dishwasher and running it, stuff had been building up for the past week.

On my list also is to tackle the mountains of dried clothes. A friend helped me sort out a room last week but all clothes, bedding etc got dumped in a pile for washing on top of the recently dried stuff so it's all mixed up.

Can I share an oven tip?

Vinegar and baking soda on oven trays in a bin liner, agitate them and tie the bag for half an hour. The trays shined right up really easy with no major scrubbing! I helped someone do their oven with this recently, saw it on Instagram. Shame I haven't done my own oven!

I live in a flat. I’ve seen some snotty threads on MN complaining about neighbouring flats hoovering after 7.

If I don’t get home until 6 at the earliest, is it okay to do housework (I have a fear of making noises and upsetting others).
