Just needed a bit of support right now. Lots of intrusive thoughts about self harm. Getting hard to ignore it. I have this constant panic in my stomach...this nervous anxiety throughout my whole body. This feeling isn't new to me but it feels worse lately. Not sure what to do.

Hi, sending love your way. Is there someone you can talk to - family, friends, GP? These thoughts will pass, but you must make sure you’re safe until they do and get some help to help yourself in the future too.

Hello.
MN can be a great distraction when you are feeling thos way.
Do you do anything else to distract/focus your mind?
I do those jewelled paintings as I have to really concentrate also paint by numbers helps me.

@Privateandconfidentialplease Not sure I can be much good at support, but I am having the same kind of intrusive thoughts and understand what you mean about hard to ignore. I'm not sure what to do either.

Thank you for your responses. I think it is just something i have to deal with. I feel really pathetic still feeling like this. I was diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety 4 years ago and the self harming began 3.5 years ago. I have been up and down since then and have reduced my meds in half. That blanket of depression has lifted alot and the anxiety has got better but the self harming thoughts havent changed. Surely i should be better by now? Will i always feel like this?
