Citalopram side effects, exercise and panic attacks

Hi,
I started taking Citalopram 13 days ago to try and ease lightheadedness and panic attacks, which started for the first time in my life, during October this year.
Before I took Citalopram, the panic attacks would ease towards late afternoon/early evening. Then begin again the next day. I actually took a 40mg tablet of Propranolol one evening, which woke me up in the middle of the night gasping and in the middle of a panic attack. Since that one tablet and and awful night, I have been left with a tight chest.
Now taking Citalopram, and side effects persist. Unfortunately, the tightness of chest remains, but eases a little bit every now and again.
I exercised for the first time yesterday, on a stationary exercise bike. I rode for 30 minutes at a very leisurely pace. An hour after id finished, I developed an even tighter than normal chest feeling, which has remained into today. Is exercise harmful when taking Citalopram?
Has anyone else experienced a tight chest after taking Citalopram or indeed propranolol?

Many thanks, in advance.

Have you checked the information leaflet in the packaging of the citalopram?
I don't think exercise is a good idea if your chest is tight.
Have you checked the leaflet of the propranolol?

I’m on day 11 of taking citalopram and the last few days I’ve had a really tight chest too! I went to the gp but she wasn’t too concerned and put it down to anxiety, however I am going to get some blood tests tomorrow. I’ve been extra anxious and panicky since taking the citalopram so I’m thinking it might just be all the tension stuck in my chest. I didn’t actually get any chest tightness at all yesterday which I think is because I kept myself busy, it seems to come on when I really think about it but it’s horrible.
