9 weeks without antidepressants and I can't cope

Feel such a failure. Been on antidepressants for 30 year due to a very serious assault that left me not only fighting for my life but with life changing injuries. Due to other health complications doctor decided I needed to come off antidepressants. Slowly got myself off them and felt great. (Or so I thought). The last 3 weeks have been horrendous.
Trying to get through to doctors is a nightmare although I do have a phone app for 8 days time.
Not sure what I want from this post just needs to write it down I suppose.

Hi @Debsdonein,

I'm so sorry you're experiencing this, I too have felt pretty ropey when coming off antidepressants. It's not a reflection on you but just a process that the body goes through, it's a sort of a detox process I think. GP's are not always well informed enough of how it can leave you feeling.
