I'm not sure what I want to achieve by this post but I've come to realise I really can't let go of certain situations in the past. Even now, years later they stick with me, I think about/sometimes dream about and replay situations. Is this normal?!

It always seems to stem around close relationships, ie I worked for a company and was very close with the owners, looked after their son before I worked for them, was poached to go to their company, spent a few years loving my time and then got shit on from a great height by them.

A work colleague who I classed as a friend, socialised with, had a great relationship with, stopped doing their job properly, as their manager I had to address these things and the relationship completely soured and I was accused of being a bully by them.

I don't know why but these and a couple of other moments really stick with me, even though they are 2-10 year years ago!

It's like it's imprinted on my mind

Might be worth looking at these situations from where you are now - at a distance in time. Think about the perspective of the other players (the owners/the friend) - what else was going on in their lives that you might not have known about at the time? Think about your own role - was there something you would have done differently if you'd known then what you know now? What lessons have your learned that will help you in future situations?
