Do they work?

Which ones are best?

I'm thinking of getting one for my daughter. She likes soft fluffy things.

I love mine. Its the gravity blanket brand. I've heard lots of good things about the Brentford (?) one too, which is a lot cheaper than mine was!

Yes my dd has one. I won't link a brand as I'm not in UK but it's a grey cotton with a glass beads inside. This one is 5kg as they say it should be about 8% - 10% of their body weight.

It took a few night to get used to it, and now she sleeps with it every night. It's getting warmer here now so she just uses the blanket but in winter she puts it under the duvet so it's on her body. She does sleep a lot better using it. In fact she's been to a couple of sleep overs and she packs it up and takes it along with her.

I wish I'd bought it ages ago now.

I bought cotton as it seems cooler as we live in a hot country, but there are fleece ones as well. Cotton one side, fleece on side which look really cosy.

She says it's feels like she's wrapped up in a hug.

Yes, and yes they do work. DD curls up under hers at the end of / after a meltdown and it does help.

I’ve got a gravity blanket and absolutely love it. It wasn’t cheap though but there are lots of alternatives out there.
