Hi all, unsure if this is the right place to post but I guessed this would possibly be the thread with the most people who might have tablet these meds……
Was given x2 tablets from the crisis team on discharge from A&E to reduce anxiety and help me sleep until the home treatment team came to see me. However they just cut two from the blister pack and handed them to me. Now I can’t remember what they are. The only writing I can see on the packet where it’s been cut is ‘epam’ and possibly 5mg?
Could anyone work out what these might be please?

Diazepam?

Orangesandlemons82 · 26/10/2021 19:03

A dose of 10mg (5mgx2) would be a normal dose

Pinkbeef · 26/10/2021 20:13

Sorry I didn’t explain, they told me to take one on the first night and one on the second.

5mg of diazepam is also a normal dose. What colour are they?

Orangesandlemons82 · 26/10/2021 20:23

Temazepam would be 10-20mg and lorazepam would be 1mg to 4mg so I'm pretty sure it's diazepam

Picture? Though I guess you took them. Diazepam are tiny

Pinkbeef · 26/10/2021 21:07

I haven’t got them to take a photo but I have googled and found this photo…..
Same size/shape and colour but not sure what the writing said on mine.

Diazepam 5mg

I would say diazepam 5mg.

It might be temazepam 5mg if you were told to take them at night but the dose is usually 10 or 20mg, unless you're an older person (above 65), OP?
