Grinding teeth - mouth guard ?

Recommendations please! I would like to buy a mouth guard as I grind my teeth in my sleep and I'm so worried about the long term effects this will have on my teeth. OH says he can hear me doing it but doesn't want to wake me as I'm also really struggling with my sleep at the moment.

Anyone used a particularly good one?

Get one from your dentist. They're not cheap but mines lasted years and it'll be moulded to your mouth.

They're worth getting, not only for the wear on your teeth but for jaw aches and headaches that you can get as a result.

I got one from my dentist. I grind my teeth day and night mainly from anxiety and it's saved my teeth, stopped my headaches and jaw aches. I would definitely recommend getting one.

You need to see your dentist. There are two types of mouth guard. A generic one that will mould to your teeth and a more expensive one that only your dentist can order for you. I’m afraid a visit to the dentist is required and you are correct, grinding your teeth at night will damage them.

Also if you see your dentist it could be cheaper to pay for the mouth guard privately rather than through the NHS, as weirdly it can be cheaper that way
