Sertaline side effects

Hi all first post.
Took sertaline 6 years ago after PND and anxiety re death, can't remember much about the side effects back then.
Unfortunately on it again and now on day 5 of taking it and I am experiencing hell on earth.
I am dizzy and feel sick all the time and feel faint frequently.
On the verge of a panic attack with the faint feeling coming in waves.
Should I continue and wait out the 2 weeks subsidence of side effects or seek advice tomorrow about stopping it.
Anyone else had this issue is it 'normal'

I've recently started taking it too, what mg are you taking? If it's 50mg maybe try snapping the tablet in half for a week or so and then build up?

I used to get the dizzy almost spaced out feeling to begin with so I started taking them at night. Didn't notice any more side affects after that but changed to taken them in the morning after about a week as I find it easier with my routine. I needed an increase about 3 months ago and did the same again. No issues with side affects and the does dose seem to be helping me get on with life much better.

It is 50 so I might do that for a few days till I can speak to GP on Monday. Definitely can't remember it being as bad last time but I probably was in a worse state back then having just had a baby.

I did take it at night when I think about it last time. Maybe Al try that tomorrow and hope the side effects wear off by morning

I’m on week 4 and feeling much better but first week was awful, felt really bad, had to get anti sickness and had waves of mega anxiety but it’s definitely passed so stick with it. I’m on 50mg and GP advised snapping half initially which I did

I've had crippling anxiety attacks all night on this and I think I'll have to come off it. Making me breathless and like I can't breathe fully.
I can't do this for 2 weeks.
