Hello,

I'm not sure if the title is the best way to put it, but here we go..

So I have in the past suffered from anxiety, and also learned how to get it under control. I hadn't had an anxiety flare up (is this what it's called?) since before my daughter was born until recently.
My DD is 2.5 and has recently had tummy bugs (twice in two weeks), which I then caught the second time she had it. I have an anxiety around sickness (I mean vomiting, not general illness). We have been very lucky and she has not picked up anything like this before so when it first happened I dealt with it, felt a little anxious while she was poorly but then after a couple of days everything went back to normal. Then two weeks later, she had another bug, worse than the first time and the anxiety was a little worse. I then picked up the bug a couple of days later and I've been struggling ever since, I'm over the bug obviously, but I constantly worried that she's going to be sick again. Especially as she's teething really badly at the moment, so she's very fussy, which was how she would get before being sick. I know there's nothing wrong with her but I'm constantly worried about it and looking out for little signs (which I'm sure were all there before, I just didn't notice!). I dread getting a call from nursery in case they're telling me she's sick again. Her friend from nursery is now off with a bug so I know it's still around, and I know these bugs go around nurseries and schools, but I need to figure out a way to get past the anxiety of it.

If it had just happened once I would be fine, but twice in two weeks seems odd has bothered me!
