Anxiety and stinging/burning sensations

Serendipity09 · 12/10/2021 20:22

I am going thought an extremely prolonged period of stress at the moment.

For the past few months I have been getting stinging itches in my upper arms and shoulders and a burning sensation in my face.

It just comes after a particularly stressful event, or when I am in bed at night.
Does anyone else experience this?

Yes I have this and sometimes a really sharp stinging pain on my nose or face, feels like an insect has stung me but there's never any mark. I've always wondered what it was.

Yes, I get that too! And occasionally in my forearm.

Looks like it's just us!

B vitamin deficiency can cause odd sensations such as pins and needles, numbness and my favourite - the ice cold trickle of water down my skin. Worth checking?

My hands sting when I'm very anxious

I get waves of burning across my chest! Had them a LOT when I was at my sickest. Haven't had them in ages now I'm well.
