Hi,

Has anyone experienced the above whilst taking sertraline? I’m super tired and dizzy all the time, it’s doing my head in. Do they fade?

Thanks

Hello. I had these symptoms when I started Sertraline. I also felt quite numb and extremely down. The dizziness and tiredness stayed with me for a good 2 or 3 weeks. I'd say overall, it took 6-8 weeks for it all to settle, but that 6-8 weeks of feeling crap was so so so worth it! It has honestly saved my life so please persevere if you can

Yep it fades. Can take a few weeks though.

It is worth it, so persevere. I have up the first time and wish I hadn't, I wasted a year feeling like crap!

I’m surprised your GP
didn’t explain this when it was prescribed.
Did you read the patient leaflet at all that came with the medication?

I’ve been on fluoxetine before, and sort of expected a similar build up (can’t take fluoxetine as it interacts with a different med I’m on).

As it stands, things have got a lot better in the last few days. I’m still getting dizziness, however it’s in a very specified time period in the morning.
