Burnout!

Anyone got any tips for dealing with burn out? Like so many others, this year’s had significant challenges, but it feels like it’s just taken too much out of me. My DS is in a key exam year, which is already taking its toll. I work part time, and started commuting 2 days a week last month after 18 months away - pattern seems to be 2 days in office/4 days in bed with a bad cold. I’ve had severe mental health issues in the past - and I don’t think I’m depressed/anxious/similar - I just feel like there’s more going on around me than I can process, everything feels too much. I always feel too tired to concentrate on a book or tv. I’m always shattered even though I generally sleep 7/8 hrs/night - I want to just curl up and rest all the time. Is this just the norm for adapting to post-covid life getting back to speed, or am I burnt out? How do you reckon you get over burn out and feel normal again?

Feeling tired, wanting to curl up and not being able to concentrate/process stuff can all be signs of depression.
Take care of yourself Flowers If you’ve had severe MH issues in the past its worth looking out for, and being aware of, signs that you may be slipping towards that deep hole so you can speak to your GP.
