I've got full blown tonsillitits.......think I've got a bit of an ear infection as well.....I can't hear properly and it hurts like mad!!! I went to bed at a reasonable time last night...didn't sleep at all though cos everytime I tried to swallow it hurt so much I woke up!!! I feel really sick too.....

DS1 is laying on the sofa looking a little worse for wear too........coughing like mad........not sure whether to send him to school or not.....or if we should all just curl up together on the sofa for the day?

Poor you titania, have you been to the doc? You might need antibiotics. I would curl up on the sofa and watch telly today if I were you!

Sod school - curl up together under a blanket, watch TV and doze. Plenty of fluids and paracetemol and/or ibuprofen. Go see GP if it's no better by tomorrow..?

ds2 has just screamed the place down for no reason for the past 10 minutes, so I changed a very yucky nappy and put him back in bed and he conked straight out!!! Not like him at all!! ....dds THINKING about getting up......

No I haven't been to the doctor.......I can barely even stand up straight let alone get to the doctor.........

Definitely sod school today and rest as much as poss. If you're not feeling any better by Friday do go to the doc, you can't move house with a throat infection!

I know!! I went and bought all the paint last night as well!!! I'm sooooo tired!!!

Nightmare! Best thing is to rest as much as possible and try not to worry about the move - just concentrate on getting better

got loads of dull admin and chores to do today, but other than that not a lot! Are you moving on the 15th? How's the packing going?

yes supposed to be getting the keys on the 15th providing the landlord gets his arse into gear with our references!!! otherwise it will be the week after., Should know later all being well cos the housing officer is going to ring me. We won't move til the weekend though cos I need to decorate first in the week.

Packing is going ok.....packed all I can for now anyway!!! Pictures and stuff.....nothing else I can pack for now cos we need it all!

Oh crap....just thought.......supposed to be ds2s 8 month check today....and dd has just got up in a grotty mood.......great.....ah well

Cancel the 8 month check, give them all sweets and pot noodles and get back to bed with a big hot cup of tea!

dds up so ds1 has decided he is much better winding her up.....I think I will take him to school with this miraculous recovery!!!! Got to get dome bread anyway. SIGH

Well at least if ds1 goes to school it's one less child to deal with today so you may get a bit more rest ...

T you need some anti biotics and an early night tonight( no diy shopping!) in all honesty dh should come home cos you are clearly not well and you cant struggle on feeling that dreadful otherwise you will never recover

ok so you have just told me he cant come home, fair enough, but just do the bare minimum today.

Phew.......just got back.....ds2s 8 month check was fine.....HV said he is totally great little chap. dd is grumpy as hell though and crying lots. ds2 is asleep in the pram at the moment......went to the docs and they insisted they couldnt see me til friday......so sod em......!!!! I'll be better by then anyway.

I promise.....no DIY shopping.....for now
