Anxiety after miscarriage

I don’t know if it’s because of increased hormones, but just over 2 weeks ago I had an early miscarriage (4 weeks 2 days) and my anxiety especially in the past week or so has been horrendous!
I’ve always had generalised anxiety but the past few years it’s been mild, I’ve never taken any tablets for it and haven’t had a panic attack for a good few years now.

Well a few days ago I took my kids to soft play and all of a sudden completely out of nowhere got hot, clammy and shaky, I had to run to the bathroom to splash water over my face and take a few deep breaths to try and calm down. My heart was racing so bad. As soon as I was out in the fresh air I calmed down but I felt off for the rest of the day.

I’ve been fine over the weekend and then again tonight out of nowhere I’ve had the racing heart and shortness of breath. Now I’m in bed I feel fine again.

Should I be worried about something else going on? Maybe infection ( although I don’t have a temperature and no pain anywhere)
Or are my hormones just raging after the miscarriage (I also ovulated a few days ago) ?

Thanks 😊

I'm sorry for your loss. I was all over the place (physically and emotionally) after both the miscarriages I had (also early ones like you). It took a while for my hormones to settle down and then I felt ok, just give yourself a bit of time. I needed to grieve also for the baby that I wouldn't have, I did feel pretty depressed. That was a very personal thing.
