I've had it since I was 11, and pulled eyelashes and hair on and off for years. Now 31 and 18 weeks pregnant and it's uncontrollable. Any other Trichsters out there and how has yours been during pregnancy?

Hi @Fkar1

Congrats on your pregnancy! I don't have trich but I do have dermotilimania - an obsessive tendency to pick my skin. I don't remember if it got worse in pregnancy but I have read that body focussed repetitive behaviours can be effected by hormones so it could well be a factor?

Yes I have this - eyebrows and head. It did get worse during my first pregnancy but had calmed down a bit now and is basically manageable. I have had my brows microbladed and have one small bald spot on my head. Sorry I don't have any advice but just wanted you to know that it's not just you!

Mine has been the worst it's ever been these last few months. Sometimes i can't move from my sofa for hours because of it. I have to tell myself out loud to stop. I can't even get up to make a tea because of the obsession with doing it. Sending virtual hugs.
