Hi I have got more and more anxious over the last year to the point that it’s really affecting my quality of life. I have developed OCD mainly fear of contaminating someone so over think and over do everything involving keeping people safe. With covid i obv worry about contaminating someone without realising it. Anyway point is this can’t continue as when I’m so anxious I physically feel ill, can’t eat or sleep over think can’t focus, need constant reassurance. It’s driving my family mad and Also me tbh. I have tried cbt exercise nutrition vitamins etc and it works to a point. Is there anything s GP can prescribe which I can take when I’m in a particularly anxious state but that I don’t need to take daily? Any ideas? Thanks
