I never drink caffeine. I dislike tea and coffee (except for the occasional fruit tea). However, I suffer from generalised anxiety and tend to catastriophise quite a lot. I can be quite negative and irritable as well (god I sound like a bundle of laughs don't I!). I have a baby and toddler and suffered from ppd too though I think I'm (mostly) past that.
My husband has been wondering if I should try drinking caffeine as he has read that this can make people have more energy and feel more positive. However, I have also read the opposite and feel like it might be daft to purposefully give myself a caffeine dependency. However, if it benefits me positively, I'm happy to have a cup or two of green tea each morning. Any opinions? Would a couple of cups of green tea each morning be good for me or is caffeine best avoided? (Am not on any medication whatsoever- another thing I'm considering, but thought I'd consider more 'natural' things first - going to take some vitamin supplements too maybe as probably deficient in some things... I know I'm borderline anemic at the very least).
Thanks!
