Hi, I'm not sure whether this is a health or mental health question so here goes...
I have been feeling really tired since January. I initially thought it was due to getting into a rut with poor eating, sleeping and exercising habits, so I made an effort to stay going to bed at a decent time, ready a better diet and do daily exercise.
There was no change, if anything I was more tired. I've been anemic in the past so I went to the doctor's for a blood test. They checked my B12 and blood sugars at the same time. Everything was good - I'm not anaemic or diabetic. My B12 was a bit high so I've stopped taking multivitamins.
I went back to them to say, great that I'm not anaemic, but what now. The Doctor asked if I'm feeling down, I told her that I'd identified last year during some therapy that I'm anxious a lot of the time (previously thought I was pretty chilled out, but once I started listening to my body realised I've just never linked being anxious to the way I was feeling before). This is not a change, I gave felt this way most of my life so I am used to dealing with it. It doesn't usually make me feel tired. But I don't think I feel depressed.
Doctor has prescribed Sertraline bit I haven't been able to bring myself to take it. Is this normal? Sertraline for tiredness?
