Ok, I have diagnosed severe social anxiety. Covid has delayed treatment, but after nearly 2 years I’m receiving treatment.

I was asked to create a survey, it’s only 5 questions. Would anyone be willing to help me ? ...

Thankyou to anyone in advance who can give me their time.

Thankyou everyone. Actually scared to go and look at the results. Really, really hoping that other people don’t mind quiet people too much.

I think you will find that most of us really enjoy our friends who are quiet as well as those who are a bit less so. It is good to have different personalities, and I for one, am grateful for the friends who don't always need to be talking. If we can be together comfortable in short silences, all the better.

Done. Interesting exercise - did your therapist explain why it would be useful?

GizmoIsSoFluffy · 28/07/2021 21:54

Sarahlou63 - to prove to myself that people will still like and accept me, even if I’m quiet. I think I have to be funny for people to like me and so that puts pressure on me and I just hide away. Of course I’m concentrating on the 5% who think I do need to be louder/funny, not the 95% of you that accept quieter people. Guess everyone is different
