DH has gone back to work

MIL kept ringing and texting me asking me when am I going to go round today.......I don't want to......ds1 still not well and ds2 is grotty.....I would have to drag 3 kids out in the pouring rain carry the garden fork we bought FIL for his birthday and walk to her house......would take ages.......plus, she can drive!!! I text her saying I couldn't go so now she is saying that my ds1 will have to wait til next weekend for his birthday card and present (his birthday was yesterday) Bit bloody late by then!! I'm really upset now.......

It's pouring down with rain again.......

I just want to get packed and moved......

Awwww that's a shame she can't drive round hun. That would annoy me too especially when you have poorly children

hopefully get the keys a week tomorrow......I can't pack anything else now til nearer the time... am so so bored....... got itchy feet now.....just want to get out of here....i hate it

btw, my MIL can drive too and never comes here now. She expects us to go over there all the time even though dh works long hours. She drives all over but 14 miles to ours is too far. Granted she is old at 81 but I wouldn't mind so much if she didn't do the other journeys. BIL is the fave son so if it was him she'd be round in a shot

oh great....now dd and ds1 have woken ds2 up...he really need to go to sleep for longer than this....... oh i give up........

yes not far........just going to hire a transit van for the day I think. Kids are 5 3 and 9 months

They're very close in age then. My friend has kids very similar in age and she's a single mum. I don't know how she does it? I suppose she just has to. She's living in an awful area, it's just round the corner from me but there are awful youths hanging around and harrasing people I hope she gets a move soon too.

Hope your day improves, what time is dh in?
